Cheyenne Stone was amazing . She took the time to go over each person camera and show us some base setup for our camera. When I came I had no clue what my camera could do, but when I left I had a good understanding of how to take pictures. .

I took a nature photography class to try and keep up on my photography skills and see if I could learn something new. We were taking pictures of a waterfall and I decided to stand back and see if I could get a more interesting shot. This older lady walked up to look more closely at the waterfall and I thought it would be a great shot. It turned out much better than expected!

I just moved from the Boston area to Columbus. This was taken at Sedgwick Garden in Beverly, where I was living. It was one of my favorite places to shoot. Ellery Sedgwick, the first editor of The Atlantic Monthly, had a summer retreat here. The estate includes gardens, ponds, orchards, meadows, and a forest. The property is now owned by The Trustees. It's a little gem of a place. Shhhhhh!

With Hayden Falls being a quick trip on a cold day, I decided to run over on my lunch break and snap a few shots. Using a tripod and a ND1000 filter, I set the camera to exposed for 8 seconds at f4. When taking long exposures, I will also set the camera on a 2-second delay, to avoid camera shake after pushing the shutter button. Time well spent to get the images! Enjoy and stay safe, everyone!

While visiting Cannon Beach, Oregon for Spring Break this year, we were treated to beautiful blue skies, warm weather, stars AND airglow at night! I was absolutely giddy about seeing those stars! Now I hope you all know how extremely rare this combination is on the pacific coast in spring. It's normally overcast and raining and definitely no stars to be seen. Thank you universe for allowing your magic to flow this evening. I truly appreciate you and your powers ??

to create this I used a piece of Teal vinyl for the backdrop, I had the camera, with a 30 mm Marco lens on a tripod set to manual focus, with focus staking of 10 shots I only used 5 in the end). for lighting I had two static lights on mini stands so I could play about with their placement to get the effect I was looking for. The dandelion seed was held in place, by putting it into a piece of white tack, I then sprayed it using a little electronic face atomiser (bought from Amazon) and loa

Decided to make a composite that resembles the photo that NASA took with their millions of dolllar photo equipment. 2 months ago I photographed the full moon and placed it on top of the most recent solar eclipse photo I took. The moon normally get its light from the sun so getting the perspective with moon visibility is impossible during an eclipse unless you have nasa gear. My photo was taken with a canon R5, RF400mm F2.8 and cropped in.
